Chew Eye Specialist & Surgery Sdn Bhd was founded in 1988 by Dr. Chew Kok Peng. The first clinic was established in Taiping in 1988. On 2nd of May 1990, the second clinic was opened in Fair Park, Ipoh. Chew Eye Specialist Centre stands on 4800 sq ft in a 2 storey building with an integrated concept for all eye care services.
Our primary objective is to promote quality services at competitive prices. We aim for affordability while providing a world-class eye care to the local and regional community. Our centre is fully equipped with the latest instruments and machines.

- Became a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons – Ophthalmology, Glasgow, UK
- Consultant in Hospital Fatimah and Kinta Medical Centre Ipoh
- Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon experienced in cataract surgeries, glaucoma, strabismus (squint), laser refractive surgeries
- The first surgeon to perform 100% bladeless LASIK surgery in Perak, Malaysia.
- A comprehensive Ophthalmologist treating diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), paediatrics eye disorders, etc.
